Of note is the high-quality lithographic decoration with ornamental frames in bronze, carmine, and dark olive colors, and two of Leningrad's famous architectural landmarks, anchored by the USSR State Emblem centerpiece. Made in 1955, it was perhaps one of the very first presentation documents without a portrait of Stalin. Surprisingly, the old duo portrait of Stalin and Lenin was not replaced here with just Lenin's solo profile as in the majority of such documents. A safe political move on the part of the creators of this artwork, no doubt. Who knew in 1955 whose personality cult was next!

In excellent condition. The artwork is pristine. All the typographical and handwritten text , signatures and seal are bright and perfectly legible. The corner bumps are minimal, and both top corners are reinforced with clear scotch tape on the verso.
