In excellent, outstanding condition. To come across a banner with Stalin's image surviving Khrushchev's de-Stalinization, and in this condition, is truly little short of a miracle. The color of the silk is bright, the fabric retaining all of its moiré sheen. The artwork is high-quality and in near-pristine state. The fringe is all in place and matches the gold of the artwork in its luster. There is the faintest stain near the right-hand bottom corner of the verso. It is so faint that it does not show in photos, so we are just telling you that it's there. There is also a bit of barely-there water-staining that can be seen in the portraits area at close inspection.
