SVD Dragunov sniper rifle canvas cover, never used Soviet military surplus, dated 1976.
Made in study canvas with leather straps and nickel-plated steel fittings. About 54" lengthwise, 46" folded. The stamp mark of the Karl Marx factory on the inside of the flap shows a 1976 date of manufacture. No other markings.
In very good to excellent condition. The cover has not been used and shows only storage age. There is no soiling, tears, mildew, or any other significant condition issues. The canvas is overall clean, although there are a few tiny discoloration spots and a single stain from the prolonged contact with the leather strap while in storage- none of it very

significant condition issues. The canvas is overall clean, although there are a few tiny discoloration spots and a single stain from the
prolonged contact with the leather strap while in storage- none of it very detractive. The buckles show a minor amount of oxidation which is
not affecting their functionality. There is no shoulder strap present. The leather is without cracks, still nice and fairly supple. The canvas
has a slightly musty odor, typical of goods held for decades in a Soviet military warehouse.
