Real Photo Postcard with a View on Khreschatik, Kiev, artist signed, circa 1956-57.

The size is regular standard 5 ½" x 3 ½", postally unused and unmarked. Circulation 3,000 copies, extremely low by Soviet standards. Printed on matte photo paper. The b/w photo presents a view on the then new buildings on Khreschatik, Kiev's main street, erected just after the war and representing the huge and prideful effort to rebuild Kiev, largely destroyed in the war. The back is undivided, the printed verbiage is in Ukrainian. The photographer's name, M. Kozlovskiy, is printed at bottom right.
