Cigarette Mouthpiece with Airplanes, "trench art" circa 1930s-40s.
Measures 73 mm long, in aluminum and Bakelite-like plastic with multiple color inserts. Quite an artistic aviation-themed design, with color silhouettes of airplanes on the facets of the aluminum part.
In very good to excellent condition. Very little wear shows on the metal part, and almost none on the Bakelite part.
The mouthpiece appears to be in perfect working order, although we enthusiastically join the Surgeon General in his warning about the dangers of smoking. The item is very smoothly polished and pleasant to hold. Make it a fidget toy instead! Or put it on the shel
