Belt Buckle of a Student of the Theological Seminary of Nizhniy Novgorod, early 1900s.

In Melchior (white metal alloy of mostly copper and nickel) with brass attachments for the belt, measures approx. 64.5 x 51.1 mm; weighs 46.8 g. The superimposed letters НДС ("NDS") stand for Nizhegorodskaya Dukhovnaya Seminariya (Theological Seminary of [the city] of Nizhniy Novgorod). In the lower right corner, there is a "crossed hammers" maker mark of an unknown Russian manufacturer.

Very good to excellent condition. The buckle has kept its convex shape perfectly and does not have any dents or significant scratches. The letters are tightly attached
