The certificate is unobtrusively but tastefully decorated. The wreath of oak leaves on top has a banner in the center with "GSSR People's Commisariat of Education" on it. In very good condition. The paper shows faint traces of old wrinkles which are now mostly flattened out. The top and right-hand edges are a bit frayed, showing a few short rips from improper storage. However, there is no loss of paper and no significant soiling or discoloration. All the graphics and text, typographical and handwritten alike, are perfectly crisp and clear.
