Badge for Excellence in NKVD Dalstroy (Far Eastern Construction), #1119, early to mid-1940s.

This is a relatively early example with better enamel quality than some later specimens we've observed.
In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is literally perfect, completely free of any flaws or wear that could be found even under a 10x magnification.
The raised details of the construction site etc. in the center are likewise perfect and extremely crisp. The original silver finish is intact in recessed areas on the obverse and virtually pristine on the reverse. The screw post is full length, approx. 10 mm, and includes the original mint marked screw plate. To summarize, this is a superb example of the NKVD Dalstroy Badge - in our opinion, impossible to upgrade.
