In excellent condition, very uncommon for this badge. Both red and white enamels are extremely well preserved having only some microscopic contact marks and tiny amount of rubbing while retaining nice luster (the enamel appears to be lighter in the tiny area in the upper left corner of the banner where its layer is thinner; this is a minor manufacturing flaw and not a chip or result of wear).

The details of the wreath are well-preserved and crisp; there is a mild wear to the raised points of the soldier and a minor amount of pitting that is typically found on the Voroshilov Marksman badges due to corrosion of the underlying steel. The screw post is full length, over 11 mm. Comes with the original screw plate in bronze-plated steel with the factory logo "MOAKh' and stamped serial number 222460; the screw plate is somewhat loose due to worn threads but still works reasonably well and will remain on the screw if left undisturbed.
