Shoulder Sling for Mosin-Nagant Rifle, dated 1953.
The sling is in tough, rugged olive drab web material, measures between 1 ¼" and 1 ½" in width. Overall length is 47- 48" when fully extended, easily adjustable to a smaller size. The "dog collars" are in light brown leather with magnetic steel rivets as correct for the early production. The buckles are also in steel with protective zinc finish. There is maker mark stamped on the back showing a 1951 date of manufacture.
