In excellent condition, very uncommon for a hat of this type. The hat is completely free of moth bites or tracks, which is particularly unusual for the napped wool material. There is a very faint trace of what looks like a sticky label on the crown that was removed, leaving a whitish contour of it. Otherwise, the exterior as well as interior are immaculately clean and fresh. The band and liner are practically free of wear; the factory logo is perfectly preserved and fully legible. The hat has held its trademark shape perfectly. A truly superb early piece.
