In brand-new unused condition. Unfortunately, vol. 1 has acquired a corner bump to the bottom of the front and back cover boards. However, it will be completely covered by the dust jacket. The spine of the dust jacket for vol. 1 has a printing defect (the printed spine is a little off-center). Other than that, both volumes are in pristine, mint condition.

This encyclopedia is a great resource for a researcher and is definitely just an excellent and highly informative read, astounding by the diversity of museums across Russia and the variety of their exhibits.
