Order of the Red Banner of Labor, Type 6, Variation 1, #463966, circa late 1960s issue.
Silver gilt, enamels; measures 47.8 mm tall (incl. eyelet), 36.8 mm wide; weighs 37.1 g not including the suspension and connecting link. Riveted 3-piece construction. Manufactured in 1966 by the Bronnitsy Jewelry Factory, one of the smaller and lesser known makers (it produced only one series of Red Banner of Labor with the serial number range of 456000 through 467009).
In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel has only a couple of microscopic contact marks, no wear visible to the naked eye, and retains beautiful luster. The raised details likewise are free of wear noticeable without magnification. The gilt is very bright, especially on the hammer & sickle and the wreath. Comes on a two-layer aluminum suspension which is possibly original to the order. The ribbon is old, probably original as well, and very well-preserved and clean. The connecting link appears to be original and its ends are still joined with solder.
