The medal comes on original suspension device, a WW2 double-layer model in steel with self-locking pin. The old ribbon shows minor amount of staining along the edges but is nevertheless attractive and sound. (In our opinion, the old ribbon adds great deal of character to the medal, but just in case the new owner might prefer a brand-new ribbon, we will include a sufficient length of it at no extra charge). The connecting link appears to be of the period.
