Army Proficiency badge (for enlisted men), 1st cl, circa late 1950s-1960s.
In brass and enamels; 40.5 x 29.7 mm. Features pin back attachment and much nicer quality than the more recent issues in aluminum and paint. The reverse shows raised early style logo of the Pobeda Factory in Moscow.
In very fine to excellent condition. The enamel shows minor surface wear, no chips or visible flaking. Nicely preserved fire gilt finish.
