In excellent condition. The enamel is essentially perfect with only a couple of microscopic contact marks invisible to an unaided eye, completely free of flaking or other significant wear. There are no edge knocks or noticeable scratches to silver; the details of the raised lettering are perfect and crisp. Attractive toning to silver throughout. Comes on original WW2 suspension device, a two-layer model in brass with self-locking pin. The old, possibly original ribbon is exceptionally well-preserved and attractive. The connecting link appear to be original to the medal; its ends are still joined with solder. This WW2 example is superb through and through, practically impossible to upgrade!
