Pouch for combat engineer's ax, circa early to mid-1940s.
In soft but tough web material, off-white winter camouflage color. Measures about 7.5" in overall length when unbuttoned and laid on flat surface. There is a faint, illegible stamp next to the loophole reinforcement. Excellent overall condition, complete with all belt loops, original WW2 Bakelite button and straps. Only light soiling and discoloration to canvas, apparently from storage. Very solid.
