Cigarette case features a marshland bird perched on a lakeside tree stump, circa 1960s.
4 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 5/8", chromed steel. Maker's stamp on the inside. Retaining catches for elastic bands oriented for longer cigarettes - perhaps even filtered!
Very good condition showing only the sort of wear than comes from being regularly carried in a pocket. The chrome has worn thin on many of the high points on the obverse; it's possible that the case could be re-plated. The clasp mechanism works but requires both hands to operate it - easy to do after the first few times.
