Medal for Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, in light bronze.
Made in brass ("light bronze"), measures 26.3 mm in width.
The obverse shows Eastern Orthodox cross standing upon a

In outstanding, excellent condition. There are no noticeable
dings, scratches, edge knocks or any other flaws visible to
the naked eye. The raised details of the artwork and
inscription are perfect and crisp. The original "gilt"
finish (a result of the strike of the heavy press at the
mint) is extremely well-preserved in recessed areas on both
the obverse and reverse. The medal comes on original ribbon
folded into a five-sided shape with its ends stitched
together by thread, as worn by the original recipient.
Includes original connecting link attached by thread to the
ribbon. The ribbon shows a lot of wear but is still clean
