18th Congress of the Trade Unions of the USSR, participant's

18th Congress of the Trade Unions of the USSR, participant's
badge, 1987.
Brass, "cold" enamel; 25.0 mm tall (incl. flagpole finial) x
35.2 mm wide. Two-piece construction: the bas-relief of Lenin
is a separate superimposed part attached by rivets. Late style
circular logo of the Moscow Mint to the reverse. Very nice
quality badge, similar to that of CPSU congresses. Excellent
condition.
The 18th Congress was the last congress of the Soviet Trade
Unions due to the collapse of the USSR four years later. Its
delegate badges are relatively scarce compared to most of the
earlier issues.
