Medal for the Liberation of Warsaw, Variation 2, late 1940s- early 50s.

In brass; 32.1 mm wide. In outstanding, excellent condition. The medal shows practically no wear visible to the naked eye.

The raised details are perfect and crisp. The original fire gilt finish is exceptionally well preserved and bright, almost spotless. Comes on original suspension device, a late 1940s two-layer model in brass, with a relatively recent, lightly worn ribbon.
