Soviet War Veterans Committee Badge in Commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of Victory over Germany, 1980 issue.
Aluminum, paint, lacquer. Medallion measures approx. 29 mm wide. Features image of the Order of the Patriotic War on the obverse. The reverse has inscription "SKVV" (Soviet War Veterans Committee). There is raised logo of the Pobeda Factory in Moscow on the reverse of the suspension device. In excellent condition. The pin attachment is intact and fully functional.

Unlike the typical WW2 Veteran Pins, SKVV anniversary badges were awarded rather sparingly, apparently only to most distinguished WW2 vets and those that took active part in social life (such as giving patriotic lectures to school children.) Like the other Veteran badges, SKVV medals were NEVER available for sale.
