Measures 3 ¼" by 5". Grammatikopulo studio in Kars. Sergeant has large numbers "79" on his shoulder straps, identifying him as serving in the 79th Kurinski Infantry Regiment in Kars in the Caucasus Military Distrtict.

Excellent condition. Two or three scuffs do not affect the soldier's face nor any of the important aspects of his cap and uniform. Remarkably clean over all and shows no sign of ever having been fastened into an album.
