The document contains very detailed service record. Shows that Broytman graduated from a Military Instructor Pilot School in 1935, and in 1937-39 served as Airborne Assault Instructor in an Air Force unit.
During June 1941 - February 1942 he served in 227th and 52nd Short Range Bomber Regiments of 62nd Air Div. Starting in June 1942, he flew combat missions as navigator with the 826th Air Regt., 270th Air Div., Southwestern Front. His last combat assignment was with 1017th Heavy Bomber Regiment, Airborne Troops, in November 1943 through June 1944. In December 1945 he was transferred to the reserve, having been awarded for his wartime service with an Order of the Red Star (February 1942) and Medal for Victory over Germany.
